Sony India launches WH-1000XM6 headphones, redefines noise cancellation and audio experience

Sony India unveiled the WH-1000XM6, the latest edition of its award-winning 1000X series, promising “next-generation” noise cancellation and studio-level sound precision. The new headphones feature Sony’s advanced HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN3 and 12 optimally placed microphones, delivering real-time noise reduction seven times faster than its predecessor. The Adaptive NC Optimiser further fine-tunes sound to match environmental conditions, while Auto Ambient Sound mode allows users to balance music and surrounding noise seamlessly.

Co-created with top mastering engineers, the WH-1000XM6 offers High-Resolution Audio, DSEE Extreme upscaling, and 360 Reality Audio Upmix for cinema-like spatial sound. Its six-microphone AI beamforming ensures ultra-clear call quality, isolating the user’s voice even in noisy surroundings. The headphones also feature Scene-based Listening, Quick Access, and multi-device connectivity, designed for music lovers, professionals, and travelers.

In Guwahati, Sony’s new WH-1000XM6 has already generated buzz among tech enthusiasts and audio aficionados.
