On Sunday, Assam Police have officially launched their You Tube channel through DGP G.P. Singh in the Police headquarter. By Monday, the channel has achieved 15, 000 subscribers.
According to the reports, the main aim of the You Tube channel is to facilitate police-public cooperation. Along with it to strengthen their bond with the citizens of the state and work towards a safer and more secure society.
Assam Police already launched their social media handles on other social networking sites like facebook, instagram, Twitter and You Tube is included in the list.
To easily connect and communicate with the public these social media platforms are launched.
