Sikkim Manipal University, a NAAC A+ accredited university with over 28 years of academic legacy, has launched degrees in the online mode. The university has launched two undergraduate programs and five postgraduate programs. SMU’s online degrees are UGC-entitled and recognized at par with on-campus degrees. The 7 online programs have been launched on http://www.onlinemanipal.com and https://smu.onlinemanipal.com/.
SMU has launched online undergraduate programs including a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with English, Political Science & Sociology, and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom). Additionally, the university has launched five postgraduate programs: Master of Arts in English, Political Science, Sociology, Commerce, and Master of Computer Applications. Dr. Dilip Chandra Agarwal, VSM (Vishisht Seva Medal recipient), who is a (Retd.) Air Vice-Marshal and Vice-Chancellor of Sikkim Manipal University, said, “Renewing our efforts towards creating student-centric learning experiences for professional growth, SMU is excited to now go online and cater to learners across various geographies & backgrounds.”
Online degrees offer flexibility, eliminating the need for physical campus commutes, enabling learners to balance education with work, family, and other responsibilities. Recognized as equivalent to on-campus degrees, they are preferred by professionals, freshers, entrepreneurs, and resumers.
