Škoda Kylaq marks one year, crosses 50,000 sales; expands line-up with new variants and anniversary offers

Škoda Auto India marked the first anniversary of its compact SUV Kylaq by announcing that the model has crossed the 50,000 sales milestone, underlining its growing footprint in the highly competitive sub-4-metre SUV segment. The automaker also unveiled an expanded variant portfolio and limited-period anniversary benefits for customers. Since its launch, the Škoda Kylaq has emerged as a key growth driver for the brand, contributing significantly to Škoda Auto India’s best-ever sales performance in 2025. To build on this momentum, the company has expanded the Kylaq range from four to six variants, now spread across 11 price points. The new Classic+ variant makes the Kylaq the most accessible model in its segment to offer a full-fledged torque converter automatic, while a new top-end Prestige+ variant has also been introduced.

Several features such as an electric sunroof, cruise control, Auto IRVM, rain-sensing wipers, LED lighting and multi-function steering wheel are now offered across more variants. Safety remains a strong focus, with all variants equipped with six airbags and high Bharat NCAP crash-test ratings. Commenting on the milestone, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said the achievement reflects rising customer trust and the brand’s commitment to democratising European technology for Indian buyers.

In Guwahati, the Kylaq has seen steady demand, driven by growing preference for compact SUVs that balance safety, automatic transmission options and value pricing. With enhanced variants and anniversary offers of up to ₹50,000 valid till February 28, 2026, industry observers expect interest to strengthen further in the Northeast, where urban buyers are increasingly upgrading to feature-rich compact SUVs.
