Škoda Auto India crosses a landmark 500,000 units sold in its 25th year in India

Škoda Auto India has crossed a major milestone in its 25th year in the country, recording cumulative sales of over 500,000 units since its entry into the Indian market. The company reported sales of 5,491 units in November 2025, marking a sharp 90% year-on-year jump. Notably, Škoda has already achieved its highest-ever sales in the first ten months of 2025.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, attributed the strong performance to the company’s expanding network, value-driven ownership plans, and a robust product line. “These have been the chief driving forces behind our 5 lakh landmark sales and consistent year-on-year growth. We will continue this momentum by getting closer to our customers,” he said.

The company’s long-standing sedan legacy remains a strong pillar. Models like the Octavia—whose RS variant sold out within 20 minutes—and the Slavia continue to drive demand across segments. Škoda’s SUV range, priced from INR 7.5 lakh to Rs 45.9 lakh, including the Kodiaq, Kushaq, and safety-rated Kylaq, further broadens its appeal. Škoda’s rising popularity is evident across key dealerships, with increasing traction for both sedans and SUVs. Customers in the city are showing heightened interest in premium safety features and performance-driven models, mirroring the brand’s national growth trend. With over 320 touchpoints across 180 cities, Škoda Auto India aims to maintain its strongest year ever.
