Škoda Auto India has reported its strongest performance to date in 2025, coinciding with its 25th anniversary in the country. The automaker sold 72,665 cars during the year, marking a 107% increase from 35,166 units in 2024. The growth was fuelled by strong demand for the Kylaq, continued popularity of the Kushaq, Slavia and Kodiaq, and the return of the Octavia RS, alongside rapid expansion of its network to over 325 customer touchpoints across 183 cities. Brand Director Ashish Gupta said the year reflected the “trust and love” of customers and highlighted the company’s sharper product strategy, wider market reach and renewed focus on sales and aftersales initiatives as it steps into 2026.
In Guwahati, dealers reported rising interest in premium European vehicles, with Škoda cars gaining traction among urban families and young buyers seeking value with performance. The expanding network presence and strengthened aftersales support have also helped boost customer confidence in the region.
During the year, Škoda became the first major market globally to complete a full rebranding rollout and strengthened customer engagement through campaigns and cultural partnerships. The company also expanded its dealership workforce to over 7,500 professionals and enhanced warranty and ownership benefits. Škoda plans to maintain momentum in 2026 through new product launches and deeper market penetration.
