Singhania Quest+, in collaboration with the World Book of Records (London, UK), has launched ‘Go Coderz,’ India’s first and largest national coding competition aimed at school students. This pioneering event aligns with the New Education Policy (NEP), which integrates coding into the education system, and targets students from grades 3 to 10.
The competition promises a grand prize: the Gautam Singhania Coding Scholarship worth ₹1 lakh. An impressive 15,000+ registrations have already been recorded, and the event anticipates participation from 50,000+ students across 100+ schools in 25+ cities by the registration deadline on 15 August 2024. Registered participants will receive a free coding master class to hone their skills before the competition begins. Dr. Brijesh Karia, Chief Operating Officer of Singhania Quest+, remarked, “The launch of the New Education Policy signifies a shift in educational methodologies. Our event ‘Go Coderz’ is designed to align with NEP, breaking traditional barriers and promoting coding among young learners.”
The competition features two rounds of coding challenges assessing problem-solving abilities, logical thinking, and programming skills. In the initial round, students will submit group coding projects, with the top 25% advancing to the final round. Winners will receive scholarships and awards, including the prestigious Gautam Singhania Coding Scholarship.
