Simon Cowell’s new show will try to discover singing talent in all 50 states across America.
The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent boss has teamed up with Oscar-winning movie boss Ron Howard for the huge quest right across the country.
50 States to Stardom will feature a mini-documentary, focusing on each of the vast country’s regions – while holding a contest to find a musical star from each one.
A Los Angeles TV source: “This show will mix the drama and winning format of what we see in competition, with the dramatic elements of contestants’ home lives, struggles and experience.
