Competing for the first time in the Kokrajhar constituency as a member of the Bodoland People’s Front (BPF), her financial affidavit indicates an income of ₹9.33 crore for the fiscal year 2024–25 and liquid cash holdings of ₹31.69 lakh. Her movable assets are valued at ₹30.51 crore, consisting of funds in 37 bank accounts, gold jewelry worth ₹32.50 lakh, and a diverse vehicle fleet totaling 32, including both personal and commercial vehicles like excavators and school buses. Her immovable properties are estimated at ₹23.53 crore, which includes commercial real estate and a vehicle showroom named “RNB Motors” in Gossaigaon. Notably, her wealth substantially surpasses that of her husband, Hagrama Mohilary, who has reported assets of ₹5.55 lakh in cash, movable assets of ₹3.66 crore, and immovable holdings valued at ₹5.49 crore. This revelation of her financial status has become a focal point in voter discussions, particularly given recent scrutiny of candidates’ asset declarations, effectively positioning Shyuli Mohilary among the wealthiest female candidates in the state’s electoral landscape.
