Union Minister of Education and Skill Development, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, led the ‘Run for Unity’ at College Square, Cuttack, Odishaon, marking the 148th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, with around 4000 people participating in a 2 kilometer run at 6:45am to honor his visionary leadership.
During the Run for Unity in Cuttack, Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan said, “I acknowledge the efforts of paramilitary forces, NSDC and Skill India for bringing us together and making Run for Unity a successful endeavor. And also, we take pride in Cuttack being the birthplace of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose who has been instrumental in India’s independence movement.”
Under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s guidance, the Run for Unity initiative is being conducted in various cities to promote unity among youth from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds. This initiative aims to foster pride and respect among youth, promoting nation-building and upholding values of togetherness, peace, and integrity, which are crucial for creating an innovative, collaborative, and skilled workforce for the future of work.
