India is preparing for a rare musical tribute as Shreya Ghoshal announced a special showcase titled ‘Letters to Lata Didi’, dedicated to Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar. The event will take place on 7 March 2026 at Jio World Garden, Mumbai. The announcement has generated strong cultural interest across major metros including Kolkata, where Lata Ji remains one of the most respected figures in Indian music.
The concert will feature live arrangements and handpicked renditions of some of Lata Mangeshkar’s most memorable songs. Ticketing will follow a phased schedule beginning December 10 with exclusive presale access for Kotak Mahindra Bank credit card holders, followed by general bookings from December 14. The bank will also offer a 10% discount during the presale period and special meet-and-greet opportunities with Shreya Ghoshal for selected customers.
Speaking about the tribute, Ghoshal said that Lata Mangeshkar’s voice was a guiding force in her musical journey. The event will also invite audiences nationwide to send video messages expressing their gratitude to the legendary singer.
