Shhyamali De’s First Post After Raj’s Wedding Leaves Fans Guessing Its Meaning

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru married in a traditional yogic ceremony at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. Following the release of their wedding pictures online, Raj’s ex-wife Shhyamali De made several posts that garnered public attention.

Shhyamali, an active social media user, recently shared an Instagram Stories image depicting the vast universe, highlighting a small planet with the caption, “We live here.” This was her first post following the public announcement of Samantha and Raj’s wedding. Prior to this, she posted a cryptic message stating, “Desperate people do desperate things,” which sparked speculation among users about its intended target.

In the lead-up to her wedding, Shhyamali shared a reflective message, emphasizing the theme of letting go. Accompanied by a picture of a woman adorned with bottu and sindoor, she quoted a Sanskrit verse from the Padma Purana: “Runanubhanda Rupena Pashu Patni Suta Aalaya Runakshaye Kshyayaanthi Tatra Parivedana.” She provided an interpretation of this verse, conveying that through the bonds of past debts (runanubandha), individuals connect with pets, spouses, children, and their homes. As these karmic debts are resolved, the relationships, alongside their accompanying joys and sorrows, reach their conclusion.

Samantha and Raj celebrated their marriage in a Linga Bhairavi Vivaha ceremony, featuring the Bhuta Shuddhi ritual, which sets it apart from traditional Indian weddings. The couple, rumored to have been dating since 2024, reportedly got engaged in February of this year. Wedding photos of Samantha showcased a prominent ring, which she had been seen wearing since February 13.

After the wedding announcement, a deluge of congratulatory messages was received from fans and colleagues on social media platforms.

Samantha was married to actor Naga Chaitanya from 2017 to 2021, after which Chaitanya married Sobhita Dhulipala. Raj married Shhyamali in 2015, but they reportedly separated in 2022. Samantha and Raj have worked together on projects such as The Family Man 2, Citadel: Honey Bunny, and their most recent collaboration, Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom.
