Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Shatrughan Sinha has criticized the Indian government over Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification from the Lok Sabha. Sinha said the government’s move showed insane decision-making skills but would provide ammunition to opposition parties.
Sinha thanked PM Modi for the issue, saying it would not only protect democracy but also help the opposition win additional seats. He also said that Rahul Gandhi’s incompetence has united the opposition parties.
“Well, on the one hand, what they have done is seen as an example of perverted intelligence in destruction (under adverse conditions, people lose the ability to make sound decisions), but on the other hand, politically it will benefit a lot. It has given the opposition a weapon that will only protect democracy. Nay, it will also help Rahul Gandhi and the opposition to give an additional 100 seats,” Shatrughan Sinha told ANI. “We appreciate it and thank our friend PM Modi,” he added.
