Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film, ‘Pathaan’ has been in the news of late due to various controversies. However, despite everything, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer is still one of the most expected films of the year.
While the fate of the film seems uncertain in India, it is a completely different scenario in the foraign. According to a report by a news portal, the bookings for ‘Paathaan’ opened in Germany on December 28 and the figures are record-breaking. It is reported that the first-day show of ‘Pathan’ is now a house full almost a month before its release.
The report also said that seven theaters in Berlin, Damtor, Hanover, Munich, Harburg, Essen, and Offenbach are expecting record crowds. A Twitter user also claimed that not a single ticket was available to ‘send’ to Canada before February as they were all sold out.
The movie will mark Shahrukh’s comeback after a four-year gap. The actor was last seen in Ananad L Rai’s ‘Zero’ co-starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. ‘Pathaan’ also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. It is going to release on cinema hall on January 25, 2023.
Also, SRK is a part of Rajkummar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’ with Taapsee Pannu and co-stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Sania Malhotra in Atlee’s ‘Jawaan’.
