SG Sports acquires franchise team at Indian Supercross Racing League

SG Sports, led by APL Apollo, is transforming chess to racing with the launch of SG Speed Racers in the CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League. The franchise, which previously operated SG Alpine Warriors in Tech Mahindra Global Chess League, promises adrenaline-pumping real action and fierce competition. The FMSCI collaborates to launch India’s first franchise-based Supercross Racing League, bringing riders from around the world to compete in various formats and categories.

APL Apollo, a top structural steel tubing brand in India, has a 55% market share and has been a principal sponsor for Delhi Capital in IPL for three years. SG Sports aims to revolutionize the sports landscape by providing a platform for emerging athletes to thrive. The company aims to maximize the potential of Indian sports and athletes through branding activities and global exposure.

The CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League’s inaugural season begins in October 2023, featuring eight team franchises competing for recognition. The league promises thrilling skills, fierce competition, and action, capturing audiences nationwide.
