Sennheiser has expanded its premium consumer audio portfolio in India with the launch of its MOMENTUM 5 Wireless headphones and MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 earbuds, priced at Rs 39,990 and Rs 29,990, respectively. Pre-orders opened on September 24, with both products set to go on sale from October 1 through online and offline retail channels.
The MOMENTUM 5 Wireless features HD 600-inspired 42mm drivers, Dolby Atmos spatial tracking, Lossless audio support and an eight-microphone hybrid ANC system offering up to three times stronger midrange noise suppression than its predecessor. It delivers up to 57 hours of battery life with ANC and includes a user-replaceable 700mAh battery.
The MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 features 7mm TrueResponse transducers, 24-bit/96kHz high-resolution audio, Dolby Atmos 3D sound, adaptive hybrid ANC, Bluetooth 6.0 and AI-powered speech enhancement. It offers up to 12 hours of playback, extending to 40 hours with the charging case.
In Guwahati, the launch strengthens Sennheiser’s presence in the premium personal-audio segment, targeting consumers seeking high-end sound, advanced connectivity and longer product life. The pricing places both models in the upper tier of India’s increasingly competitive headphones and hearables market.
Pre-order customers can receive a complimentary BTD 600 Bluetooth USB dongle worth Rs 5,990, subject to participating platforms.
