ICICI Bank has announced a suite of initiatives aimed at bolstering its support for senior citizens in West Bengal, while simultaneously celebrating the state’s rich cultural heritage. The bank has introduced specialized desks manned by Relationship Managers (RMs) at all branches throughout the region, providing tailored assistance for seniors’ banking needs, including form submissions, fixed deposits, and more.
Moreover, ICICI Bank is extending its services directly to seniors’ doorsteps, ensuring unparalleled convenience across the state. To spread awareness about these enhancements, the bank launched the “Moner Moton Banking” campaign, featuring popular actors Prosenjit Chatterjee and Sabyasachi Chakraborty, broadcasted on prominent Bengali channels and showcased through outdoor advertising.
In a bid to showcase Bengal’s diverse talents, ICICI Bank has initiated “Tarar Khonje,” a talent search exclusively for residents and NRIs above 50. The competition spans various categories, including dance, music, poetry, comedy, and photography, reflecting the state’s vibrant artistic community. With over 5,000 registrations within weeks, the initiative has garnered substantial interest. Akash Raghav, State Head for West Bengal and North East at ICICI Bank, emphasized the institution’s dedication to providing seamless banking experiences for seniors and celebrating Bengal’s cultural richness. Winners of “Tarar Khonje” will earn the chance to appear on television alongside the esteemed actor Prosenjit Chatterjee.
