Savlon Swasth India Mission has partnered with The Dharavi Dream Project and popular rap artist Emiway Bantai to present ‘Haath Dhona Cool Hai’, an anthem that promotes hand hygiene among young India. The campaign, which is part of Savlon Swasth India Mission’s first collaboration with The Dharavi Dream Project, aims to make handwashing a universal practice and prevent the spread of diseases. The campaign uses the iconic hip-hop hand rub gesture, a symbol of hygiene, to promote hand hygiene.
The anthem aims to make the simple hand rub gesture by rap stars worldwide an interesting and relatable symbol of washing hands, making it a unique and engaging way to promote hand hygiene among young India. The campaign aims to make washing hands a cool ritual and encourage the practice of hand hygiene among young people. Emiway Bantai, known as the King of the Streets, has written and composed the anthem for the mission.
Sameer Satpathy, Divisional Chief Executive of Personal Care Products Business, ITC Limited, stated that handwashing plays a crucial role in maintaining overall health. He further added that Savlon Swasth India Mission is actively promoting hand hygiene habits through innovative communication and product ideas.
