Satin Creditcare Network Limited (SCNL), a leading microfinance institution has been organizing a series of women financial empowerment workshops across India for its clients. The plan behind organizing the workshops is to educate the clients on financial literacy and government schemes on enterprise development. The workshops would help them understand regulations and practice self-care where each of them supports the other personally as well as professionally.
One workshop of the series was organized on 27 February at Bhakula Natun Bazar, Nadia (West Bengal) with the participation of around 100 of SCNL’s clients. The event was addressed by Mr. Prashant Kumar Chakraborty (Former Branch Secretary, Bengal Grameen Bikash Bank) along with Mr Prithviraj Karmakar (Deputy Regional Manager), Mr Sushanta Pal (Regional Manager-Nadia), Mr. Ashutosh (Zonal Manager) and Mr. Deepak Kujur (Deputy Chief Operating Officer) from Satin Creditcare Network Limited. The clients participating in this workshop were provided with the guidance of credit discipline to help them develop good financial habits. The workshop primarily focused on women in the workforce and succeeding as entrepreneurs.
