Sarbananda Sonowal: The work culture of Assamese youths is the best defense against infiltration

In order to strengthen the continuous battle against infiltration and protect the state’s identity, culture, and national security, the Assamese young must prioritize a strong work culture, according to Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (MoPSW). Speaking at a youth convention held at the constituency level in the Tingkhong Assembly sector by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Dibrugarh district unit, Sonowal claimed that when young were directed with discipline and purpose, their combined strength could change the course of history. According to Sonowal, “energy is generated when the qualities within the youth are brought together, and from that energy arises the resolve to conquer the world.”

Several prominent BJP leaders, party office-bearers, and youth representatives attended the event, which was supported by the Tingkhong Assembly constituency. Given its enormous youth population, Sonowal claimed that India was known around the world as a youth-driven society and that the ensuing decades would determine the course of the nation. “Our young must advance on par with the youth of industrialized nations in this cutthroat age of science and technology. India wants to rank among the world’s top economies by 2047 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji’s Amrit Kaal vision, and our youth must be instrumental in reaching this objective,” Sarbananda Sonowal stated.

The youth must continue to be dedicated to preserving Assam’s indigenous people, culture, land, tradition, and language, according to Sonowal. “Today’s Assamese youth must prove their abilities and establish their excellence on the global stage, just as Lachit Borphukan proved his excellence and defended the existence of our civilization,” Sonowal stated. The Union minister also urged young people to avoid substance misuse and to prioritize their physical and mental health in order to preserve and transmit Assam’s rich history to future generations. Sonowal called on the youth to be alert on matters of national security and claimed that the Congress has previously enabled infiltration into Assam.
