An Indian former professional tennis player Sania Mirza and her husband pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik’s divorce rumours have been making headlines for quite a time now.
Sania who is an active member on social media and likes to share little things with her fans and followers has removed all the pics of Shoaib Malik from her Insta account. This step again gives strong speculation of the separation between them.
Cricketer Shoaib Malik has also removed the mention of being married to Sania Mirza from his Instagram bio. Whereas before these rumours in his bio he had mentioned his wife as a husband of a superwoman. Amid the ongoing rumours of getting divorced Shoaib was asked about it reportedly, to which he said,” Khabre chal rahi hai, taluqat acche nahi hai (Rumours are going around that all’s not well in the relationship). What do you want to say?”.
On January 17, 2024, Sania Mirza shared a cryptic post on her Instagram story, which read: “Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely.”
Sania had also shared a post a few days ago which reads, ” When something disturbs the peace of your heart , let it go”. This post grabbed a lot of eyeballs and fans assumed that the couple have finally decided to part ways.
There has been another reason also which has come into limelight was Sohaib’s alleged relationship with actress Ayesha Omar. As per few reports, the duo got close after they did a photoshoot together in 2021, and have been dating ever since. Ayesha Omar, who is known for her role in the sitcom Bulbulay, has also been spotted wearing a ring that resembles Shoaib’s wedding ring.
However, Ayesha Omar has falsified the rumors and told she and Shoaib are just friends and colleagues. She further added that she respects Sania Mirza and her family, and that the gossip was baseless and painful.
