Samsung India has created history as its nationwide India #WithGalaxy photography campaign for the Galaxy S Series entered the Guinness World Records, marking a major milestone in smartphone photography and digital storytelling. The campaign set two world records for creating the largest smartphone photography competition and for achieving the most contributions to an online photo sentence (artwork). Together, the submissions formed one of the world’s largest collaborative digital artworks, reflecting India’s cultural diversity and creative spirit through smartphone lenses.
Launched between December 30, 2025 and January 26, 2026, the initiative invited citizens across the country to capture real-life moments using the Galaxy S Series. The campaign received a total of 31,331 photo submissions, creating a vibrant visual mosaic of India. It was anchored by noted filmmaker Kabir Khan and supported by more than 30 regional photographers. The campaign showcased four key themes — Faces of India, Sights of India, Spirit of India, and Colours of India highlighting people, landscapes, everyday life, and the country’s rich visual traditions.
Commenting on the achievement, Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, MX Business, Samsung India, said the campaign brought people together while showcasing the advanced camera capabilities of the Galaxy S Series and empowering citizens to share their unique perspectives of India. In Kolkata, the campaign has strengthened Samsung’s brand connect with photography enthusiasts and young consumers who actively engage with mobile-led creativity. Retailers and industry observers note growing interest in premium smartphones with advanced camera features, as users increasingly value devices that support content creation, cultural expression, and social media storytelling areas where the Galaxy S Series continues to see strong traction in the region.
