Samsung Electronics has announced the Galaxy Z TriFold, its latest addition to the foldable smartphone category, offering a 10-inch display that opens in multiple stages for improved viewing and productivity. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform and features a 200MP camera system.
Samsung said the TriFold is designed for heavy multitasking, supported by a large screen that allows users to operate three apps at once. The phone is built with advanced hinge engineering and reinforced display layers to maintain durability while keeping the device slim.
For mobile users in Kolkata, where content viewing, entertainment and small-business productivity increasingly depend on smartphones, the device is expected to attract attention from tech-savvy buyers. Samsung said the phone introduces improved hinge technology and a 5,600mAh battery, one of the largest in a foldable device, along with fast-charging support. The Galaxy Z TriFold includes Samsung DeX standalone mode, allowing near-desktop functionality without a monitor, which could benefit professionals in creative and IT sectors in Kolkata. International availability begins December 2025, with regional rollouts expected to follow.
