Salman Khan joins Indian Supercross Racing League as brand ambassador

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been announced as the official brand ambassador for the Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) as it gears up for a grander Season 2. The move is expected to catapult the league into mainstream sports entertainment, leveraging Khan’s widespread appeal across urban and rural India. Expressing his excitement, Salman Khan said, “I am very excited to be a part of something I am truly passionate about—motorcycles and motorsports. The league has immense entertainment value and captures the spirit of igniting passion, showcasing skill, and creating heroes who will inspire the next generation.”

Season 1 of ISRL saw tremendous success, with over 30,000 attendees and 11.5 million viewers within just three days of broadcast. The upcoming season, starting in October 2025, aims to set new benchmarks, with Salman Khan’s presence adding to its nationwide appeal. The superstar is expected to attend select races and actively promote the sport.

Guwahati is poised to benefit from ISRL’s growing popularity. With the city’s increasing appetite for motorsports and adventure sports, local businesses, including motorcycle dealerships and sports merchandise brands, anticipate a surge in demand. Guwahati’s youth-driven market aligns well with ISRL’s goal of making Supercross a household name. ISRL Managing Director Veer Patel hailed Khan’s association as a “landmark moment for motorsports in India,” envisioning the league’s expansion on the global stage. With top international riders and increased corporate interest, Season 2 of ISRL is set to redefine motorsports in India.
