Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced in 2021 that it would become fully electric by 2030, with the first deliveries of its all-electric car, Spectre, set to be delivered in Q4 2023, marking a significant shift in the company’s history. Rolls-Royce’s Spectre, a groundbreaking vehicle, underwent a 2.5 million-kilometer testing program. Unveiled in last October at Rolls-Royce’s Home in West Sussex, England, the vehicle received overwhelmingly positive global response, marking a significant milestone in the company’s history.
Rolls-Royce’s Spectre, the first fullyelectric super coupé, made its debut in South India on 23 January. The ultra-luxury electric super coupé is expected to gain strong interest worldwide, with an order bank stretching through 2024.
India’s ultra-high-net-worth individuals are expected to rise by 58.4% in the next five years, with sales of Rolls-Royce cars nearly doubled in 2023. Vasanthi Bhupati, Dealer Principal, Rolls-Royce Motor CarsChennai, stated, “Rolls-Royce’s Spectre is the only car of its kind in its segment, and is both rare and highly desirable. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase this remarkable motor car in Chennai to start a bold new electric era for Rolls-Royce.”
