Rockwell Automation, the world’s largest industrial automation and digital transformation company, has completed the final phase of its nationwide solar energy access project. The project, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity India, is implementing rooftop solar systems in schools and families across Assam, Delhi NCR, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal to generate over 20 units of electricity daily, thereby reducing utility bills.
The installation at Gurukul Academy in Balijokaibowa, Majuli Island district, Assam, has been completed, benefiting 207 students. Solar panels were installed in Mairapur (Garo Basti), Rani, Kamrup Rural, assisting up to 514 students in the state. Solar panels have been installed in Bankati and Malandighi village of Kanksa Block, Durgapur, West Bengal, to power 50 households, and at the Government Primary School and Holy Family School in Ghaziabad, Delhi NCR.
