RLG Clean to Green campaign in Imphal

Reverse Logistics Group (RLG), a leading global service provider of comprehensive reverse logistics solutions launched its flagship campaign ‘Clean to Green’ in May 2020 and will be running till March 2021. The campaign aimed at creating awareness and sensitizing consumers on responsible disposal of electronics and safe practices for recycling by partnering with responsible organizations.

RLG’s Clean to Green campaign saw great success over the last 3 years; reached people in 25 states & 6 UT’s, outreaching stakeholders in the sphere of Schools, College, RWA’s, Office Clusters, Retailers, Bulk Consumers and Informal Sector. A total of 2,210 activities were conducted across India, the campaign reached out to 22,21,406 individuals. In FY 2020-21, Clean to Green launched on 16 May 2020 and till 31 January 2021, 276 Activities (on ground & online) with reach of 4,86,225 in 29 cities have been achieved and will continue till March 2021. The venues and stakeholders covered in Clean to Green Campaign in Imphal for FY 20-21 are Retail Outlets at Kwakeithel, Konung Mamang and Khurai, and RWA at Mahei Sindam.

Ms. Radhika Kalia, Managing Director, RLG India said, “We were encouraged by the success our campaign has attained in last 3 years. In FY 2019-20, we aimed to extend the reach of the Clean to Green campaign to ensure individuals and professionals understand that proper disposal and recycling of electronics is a national priority.” Dr. Sandeep Chatterjee, Director, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said, “The Clean to Green campaign has collaborated with the electronics industry and corporate bodies to ensure responsible disposal and recycling of e-waste in India.”
