Renault India has announced a sweeping price cut across its entire portfolio, passing on the full benefits of GST 2.0 to customers. Effective from September 22, 2025, the revised prices — reduced by up to ₹96,395 — will be available on all deliveries, just in time for the Navratri festive season. Bookings at the new rates have already begun nationwide. The KWID now starts at ₹4.29 lakh, while the Kiger and Triber begin at ₹5.76 lakh, making Renault’s line-up significantly more affordable. Variants of the Kiger have seen the sharpest cuts, with top-end models reduced by nearly a lakh.
VenkatramMamillapalle, MD of Renault India, said, “Passing on the full GST 2.0 benefit is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to our customers. This initiative will energize demand during the festive season and reinforce our promise of innovation, value, and trust.”
In Guwahati, one of Renault’s key northeast markets, dealers anticipate a surge in festive bookings. Local automobile retailers noted that competitive pricing is likely to drive stronger footfall, especially among first-time buyers looking for compact SUVs like the Kiger. With fuel efficiency and affordability in focus, Renault expects solid traction in Assam’s growing urban market.
