Renault India has unveiled the all-new Renault Duster, marking the return of the iconic SUV that once defined the mid-size segment in the country. The new-generation Duster retains its rugged DNA while introducing modern design, advanced powertrains, connected technology and enhanced safety, tailored specifically for Indian customers. Unveiled at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai before a gathering of over 15,000 people, the new Duster is the first product reveal under Renault Group’s International Game Plan 2027 for India. Built on the new Renault Group Modular Platform (RGMP), nearly 90 per cent of the vehicle is India-specific and engineered for extreme conditions and five-star safety standards.
The SUV will be offered with Turbo TCe 160 and Turbo TCe 100 petrol engines, along with the debut of a strong Hybrid E-Tech 160 powered by a 1.8-litre engine and 1.4 kWh battery, capable of up to 80 per cent electric driving in city conditions. Renault has also introduced its OpenR Link multimedia system with Google built-in for the first time in India.
Renault announced a seven-year warranty under its Renault Forever programme. Pre-bookings will open with an R Pass priced at ₹21,000, while prices are expected to be announced in mid-March, with deliveries starting in April 2026.
