According to sources within Tata Group, Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran is said to have talked about Rajesh Gopinathan’s continued involvement with the company after September 15 in an advisory capacity. Tata Consultancy Services and IT powerhouse Tata Sons declined to comment on the development. According to anonymous Tata Group insiders, there have been preliminary negotiations between the two parties since the business requires dependable and skilled workers as it diversifies into several technical fields.
