Rahul Gandhi sends reply to Delhi Police notice

Rahul Gandhi responded to the Delhi Police’s notice on his statement that “women are still being sexually attacked” during the Bharat Jodo Yatra on Sunday with a four-page preliminary response, challenging the procedure used by the authorities and the apparent urgency following a 45-day delay. Hours after a Delhi Police team, Rahul responded with a 10-point response. In addition, he requested eight to ten days to provide a thorough response to Delhi police’s inquiries over his remarks from January 30. According to authorities, the police team led by Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Sagar Preet Hooda arrived to Rahul Gandhi’s 12, Tughlaq Lane, home around 10 am and was able to meet the Congressman after two hours. The team then departed the area at 1 pm.
