Quantum AMC has launched a new fund offer, Quantum Small Cap Fund, an open-ended equity scheme primarily investing in Small CapStocks. The scheme will be co-managed by Chief Investment Officer Chirag Mehta and Abhilasha Satale. It will open for subscription on October 16.
The scheme aims to generate capital appreciation by investing in Small Cap Stocks, benchmarked against the S&P BSE 250 Small Cap total return index. The scheme aims to allocate 65%-100% to the equity and equity-related instruments of Small Cap Companies through a Direct and Regular Plan.The investment philosophy includes a disciplined fund, prioritizing liquidity, a high-conviction portfolio of 25 to 60 stocks, agile portfolio construction, limited ownership, and a minimum weight of 2% at cost in each stock. The fund’s track record since 2006 demonstrates judiciously building portfolios.
