A tragic incident took place at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Moran, where twenty-two female students tried to assault a five-month pregnant female teacher of the residential school. A teacher was beaten up by 40-50 students after a student complained about her inattentive attitude toward studies at a parent-teacher meeting.
Two students, identified as the main culprits, gathered the girls of class IX and X and tried to assault her.
According to reports, Ratheen Kumar, the teacher panicked and fainted when she was grabbed by the mob until two teachers rescued her and rushed her to the hospital.
Now the students are suspended for six months from the school.
