Singer and Composer Prajna Dutta collaborates with Saswata Ray for his new single Majhboyeshi Chalona. In Prajna’s voice, the song is a melodious romantic number that speaks of the “mid-life” struggles and realisations of every individual and spreads a note of hopefulness. The song has been officially released by Gan Gappo.
Majhboyeshi Chalona has been written by Saswata Ray and composed by Prajna himself. The song has been arranged, mixed, and additionally composed by Dipesh Chakraborty, and Recorded at Studio Inspiration. Saswata Ray, the lyricist of the song commented, “This song is a take on the realisations of life that one may or may not fathom fully, let’s say when they are nearing their middle age. The interesting part is if we really know when we reach our so called “mid-life”? The song also resonates with a few loud thoughts with oneself and also with the people around us.” He thanked Prajna, for being a great soul and an amazing friend and hopes to collaborate in many more projects with him in the future.
The music video of Majhboyeshi Chalona features various artists as- Saswata, Prajna, Rohan, Avishek, Arpita Sanyal, Arpita Goswami-Chanda, Soham, Himadri, Margita, Souvik, and Madhurima. The music video was shot in Kolkata and Newzeland. About his experience working on the song, Prajna said, “Had a wonderful time working on this song. Interestingly did the tune according to the lyrics given by Saswata da, then some really cool additional composition was done by Dipesh.
