Referring to Magh Bihu, the post-harvest festival observed in Assam, the Prime Minister said the celebration reflects prosperity and social unity and expressed his hope for peace, good health, and happiness for all. In his message on Makar Sankranti, which is celebrated in different forms across various regions of India, Modi said he prayed to Lord Surya for the well-being and prosperity of the people.
