Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the JSW MG Motor India pavilion at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, themed ‘Drive. Future,’ showcasing latest advancements in sustainable and smart mobility. The event highlighted India’s growing focus on innovation and eco-friendly automotive solutions.
Welcomed by Parth Jindal, Director of JSW MG Motor India, and Rajeev Chaba, CEO Emeritus, the Prime Minister explored MG Motor’s innovative electric and hybrid vehicles. Interactive exhibits featuring autonomous driving, artificial intelligence, and connected ecosystems attracted significant attention. “It is an honour to have the Prime Minister witness our commitment to a sustainable and innovative future,” said Mr. Jindal.
Prime Minister Modi lauded the company’s alignment with the government’s sustainability vision and emphasized public-private partnerships for achieving environmental goals. The pavilion’s call for policies like “community chargers” and a “right to charge” gained traction, addressing barriers in residential EV adoption.
