TVS Motor Company on Friday announced the appointment of Peyman Kargar as its new Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 27, 2027, succeeding K. N. Radhakrishnan.
Radhakrishnan will continue as Director and CEO until the transition takes effect and will subsequently serve as a Non-Executive Director until the company’s ensuing Annual General Meeting scheduled for July 2027.
Kargar, who currently serves as President of International Business at TVS Motor Company, brings more than three decades of experience in the global automotive industry. The leadership transition comes as the company seeks to accelerate its next phase of growth, product innovation, premiumisation and expansion into developed markets.
TVS Motor reported a record performance in FY2025-26, selling 5.9 million vehicles globally and recording 30 per cent revenue growth. Its international business currently accounts for 29 per cent of the company’s sales volume and is growing at 33 per cent.
Chairman Sudarshan Venu said Kargar’s global experience, strategic vision and understanding of markets made him the right leader to steer the company’s future growth.
Kargar said he would focus on strengthening TVS Motor’s technology leadership, AI capabilities, quality and customer-centric approach while expanding its presence in India and international markets.
