Petroleum Minister Hardeep Puri has inaugurated the Siu-Ka-Pha hospital, supported by ONGC, in Sivasagar. ONGC has invested Rs 483.19 crore in a Multi Speciality Hospital, aiming to improve the lives of its communities. The facility, expected to serve over one lakh patients annually, the hospital will be managed by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar VaidyakiyaPratisthan.
The event was attended by ONGC Chairman and CEO, ONGC, Arun Kumar Singh, along with senior officials from the Government of Assam and ONGC, including Dr. Satish Kulkarni, Chairman BAVP Trust, Dr. AnantPandhare, Chairman Siu-Ka-Pha Hospital, and Dr. Gautam Das, CEO, Siu-Ka-Pha. Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Hon’ble Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas and Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs said, “Prioritising healthcare, ONGC’s Siu-Ka-Pha Hospital, with its state of the art medical infrastructure, will bring in substantive enhancement in healthcare capacity of not only Upper Assam but in entire North east India.”
The ONGC Siu-Ka-Pha Multi Specialty Hospital, spanning 35 acres, offers 300 beds and 70 specialized doctors in various medical services. It has modular operating theaters, a critical care unit, and telemedicine, connecting patients with nationwide specialists.
