India’s leading integrated infrastructure and construction services provider, Sela, has successfully inaugurated the Sela Tunnel Project in Arunachal Pradesh, officiated by Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi, marking its 75th anniversary. This milestone event marks a significant leap in India’s strategic infrastructure development, enhancing all-weather connectivity and facilitating rapid troop mobility in the region.
Patel Engineering was chosen for the Sela Tunnel Project due to its expertise in managing complex, large-scale projects. Recognized for its resilience and operational excellence, they have been the preferred partner for critical global projects. The Sela Tunnel, valued at Rs. 650 crores, is a significant investment in India’s border security and regional economic growth. Constructed by Patel Engineering under Project VARTAK of the Border Roads Organizations, it includes a main tunnel T1 and an escape tunnel, with a road spanning 8.7 kilometers.
