Oriental Trimex Ltd, a natural stone processor and trader, reported a dramatic turnaround in Q4 FY25, with revenue jumping over fourfold to ₹16.66 crore compared to ₹3.01 crore in the same period last year. The company swung from a ₹6.43 crore loss to a ₹5.97 crore profit in Q4. For the full fiscal year 2024-25, revenue rose 476% to ₹21.02 crore, while the company posted a net profit of ₹8.53 crore against the previous year’s ₹6.48 crore loss.
The transformation comes as Oriental Trimex secured a 30-year lease for black granite mining in Odisha’s Malkangiri District, covering 4.961 hectares. The company expects the mining operations to generate ₹10-15 crore in annual revenue once they begin. The company has also expanded its retail presence with a second showroom in Greater Noida for premium vitrified tiles, strategically positioned near the upcoming Jewar Airport.
Oriental Trimex raised ₹48.51 crore through a rights issue in September 2024, using the funds for machinery upgrades and debt reduction. After repaying ₹39.55 crore to Edelweiss, the company is approaching debt-free status.
