ONGC has announced to build a personal gymnasium for the Olympic medallist India’s Boxing Star Lovlina Borgohain as a token of recognition for her unflinching commitment.
ONGC is committed towards promoting sports and sponsors various kinds of Sports events. Building of infrastructure, training players in the country, to the young and upcoming talented sports persons are an integral part of ONGC’s sports credo. Expressing great pride and happiness, Ms Sushma Rawat, Executive Director, Assam & Assam Arakan Basin, Jorhat, ONGC said, “As a token of appreciation, we are happy to fulfil her wish by building a personal gymnasium and associated infrastructure to allow her to practice properly during her time at home. This can also be used by other upcoming talents and potential medal winners from her village.”
