Oakley to launch Meta HSTN AI glasses in India on December 1 with advanced performance features

Oakley is set to introduce its Meta HSTN AI smart glasses in India on December 1, marking a major push into performance-driven wearable technology. Priced from ₹41,800, the glasses are now available for pre-sale on Sunglass Hut and will roll out across leading eyewear retailers nationwide.

Designed for athletes, sports enthusiasts, and content creators, Oakley Meta HSTN brings a powerful mix of AI and durability. The glasses feature a fully integrated camera for hands-free 3K video capture, open-ear speakers, IPX4 water resistance, fast charging, and up to 8 hours of active battery life with an additional 48 hours provided by the charging case. Meta AI is embedded directly into the eyewear, enabling users to get real-time insights—from surf updates to golf wind analysis—simply by saying “Hey Meta.”

A key highlight for Indian users is full Hindi interaction, powered by Sarvam’s language tools. Users can ask questions, control media, capture content, or make calls entirely in Hindi through the Meta AI app. Meta has also introduced Celebrity AI Voice, including Deepika Padukone’s AI voice in English. Retailers in Kolkata expect strong demand, especially among fitness enthusiasts, cyclists, and creators who rely on wearable tech for real-time assistance. The city’s growing premium eyewear market is also likely to boost early sales during the holiday season. Oakley is additionally testing UPI Lite payments via WhatsApp-linked bank accounts, allowing users to complete QR-code transactions hands-free. The Meta HSTN will be available in six Rx-ready frame and lens combinations.
