In order to cater to the needs of investors of securities markets in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Punjab and West Bengal, SEBI along with stock exchanges NSE and BSE has established an “Investor Service Centre” at Bhopal, Coimbatore, Jabalpur, Jodhpur, Ludhiana and Siliguri.
The NSE has operationalized new Investor Service Centres on December 29, 2023, to improve investor access and reach. These centres offer query resolution, complaint resolution, and assistance in filing complaints through the SEBI Scores Portal and Smart ODR Portal. Shri Ashishkumar Chauhan, NSE MD & CEO, asserted, “The Investor Service Centre will facilitate resolution of complaints of investors against listed corporate entities and other registered intermediaries in the securities market and will also facilitate conducting of investor awareness programs in the states.”
ISC centres in Bhopal, Coimbatore, Jabalpur, Jodhpur, Ludhiana, and Siliguri will host learning sessions and knowledge sessions on investment-related products and queries, including Mutual Funds, Exchange Traded Funds, Sovereign Gold Bonds, Real Estate Investment Trusts, and Infrastructure Investment Trusts. These centres will be open to all the investors who are keen to learn, understand and invest in securities market.
