NSDC International, a subsidiary of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), has launched the Global Job Readiness Program (GJRP) in partnership with Deakin University, an Australian institution. The program aims to improve the country’s talent pool’s industry-relevant skills to meet the demands of the global job market and international industries.
The GJRP is available on the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) platform, providing a user-friendly and accessible way for learners to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge. This digital accessibility will help bridge the geographical divide, democratize access to high-quality education, and enhance employment opportunities.
The platform offers a feasible interface, comprehensive search, personalized recommendations, online assessments, and job matching, making the learning experience engaging and maximizing the effectiveness of skill acquisition for the 21st century. Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC and MD of NSDC International, stated that the integration of the program into the Skill India Digital Hub is a significant milestone in holistic skill development for aspiring students.
