NSDC International (NSDCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Nursing Council (INC) to open several avenues for skill development in healthcare and allied sectors to augment language and domain proficiency of the aspiring candidates for overseas job opportunities. NSDCI plans to deploy 10,000 healthcare workers globally through Skill India International Mission, with Inc acting as a knowledge partner.
The MOU was signed by Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC International, and Dr. T Dileep Kumar, President of Dr Sandeep Singh Kaura, Adviser, NSDC for Skill India International Mission, Mrs K S Bharti, Joint Secretary, INC, Mr Ajay Raina, COO, NSDCI and other senior dignitaries of NSDCI and INC.
NSDC International, a subsidiary of NSDC and the Indian Institute of Nursing, aims to boost mobility for Indian medical professionals by offering overseas programs, improving skill standardization, language proficiency, and vocational training. This partnership addresses the shortage of skilled workforce in foreign countries. Dr. T Dileep Kumar, President INC said, “It will augment the shared vision of NSDC and Indian Nursing Council of advancing healthcare education & training for the talent in healthcare sector and be gainfully accepted in destination countries”.
