The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with with MentorKart and IIT Guwahati to establish a Post Graduate Certification Program in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, aiming to equip them with employable and industry-ready skills.
The initiative focuses on introducing a credit-based certification courses in cutting-edge skills and facilitates their smooth transition into internships and employment within the technology sector. The MoU was exchanged between Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC and MD of NSDC International, and Ashish Khare, CEO, MentorKart- a Career and JobTech platform. Commenting on the partnership, Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC and MD,NSDC International said, “This initiative of India’s First Outcome-Driven Microcredit Course in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning will further empower aspiring tech enthusiasts to embark on a transformative journey towards unparalleled career excellence.”
The curriculum is designed with industry input, incorporating real-world project opportunities and flexible learning options with micro-credentials, aligning with NCVET and NSQF guidelines for seamless career growth. The program will also include a Campus Immersion option, providing a one-week campus immersion experience to enhance the practical learning environment.
