NSDC International and Sompo Care Inc. have entered into a strategic collaboration to enhance caregiving skills in India and provide international career opportunities, particularly in Japan. A state-of-the-art Nursing Care Lab has been inaugurated at the NSDCI Greater Noida training center to offer practical caregiving training alongside Japanese language education. This initiative aims to prepare Indian caregivers for the global healthcare sector, addressing the high demand for skilled professionals in Japan.
Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, COO (Officiating CEO), NSDC & MD, NSDC International, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, “Through this initiative, we are committed to bridging the gap in healthcare services and supporting the global need for qualified caregivers.” The nine-month training program includes both Japanese language proficiency and caregiving domain expertise, ensuring that candidates are well-prepared for work in Sompo Care’s facilities in Japan.
The program will initially target 75 candidates, with future plans to expand. Shigeru Ando, Corporate Director of Sompo Care, also highlighted the role of their experienced trainers in sharing valuable knowledge accumulated over 20 years. This collaboration also has the potential to enhance the Guwahati healthcare sector, offering local caregivers a pathway to international opportunities while meeting the growing demand for skilled professionals in caregiving across global markets.
