NSDC International and We One, part of DP World, have signed an agreement to support skill development and employment opportunities for the front-line workforce. The agreement was signed between India’s Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, and DP World’s Group Chairman and CEO, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem. The agreement was signed in the presence of Indian Ambassador to the UAE, Shri Sunjay Sudhir, and Indian Consul General to Dubai, Satish Kumar Sivan.
The signing event follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed in May 2022 between NSDC International and Hindustan Ports to establish the Skill India International Centre in Varanasi as a global center of excellence for skills. DP World and NSDCI have established the Skill India International Centre in Varanasi, offering services like skill training, counselling, mobilization, pre-departure orientation, foreign language training, placement, and immigration and post-placement support.
