The 6th edition of the Bajaj Pune Marathon, one of India’s premier city runs, will take place on December 14, 2025, with an inspiring theme — “You Too Can Fly.” Organized by Bajaj Finserv Ltd, the marathon aims to unite elite international athletes, corporate leaders, and fitness enthusiasts in a celebration of endurance, aspiration, and community spirit.
Adding global star power, Jamaican sprint legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and American World Champion Noah Lyles will serve as race ambassadors. Fraser-Pryce, the most decorated 100m sprinter, and Lyles, the reigning World’s Fastest Man, embody the marathon’s message of resilience and limitless possibility. Now expanded to a full 42.2 km marathon alongside half-marathon and 5–10 km races, the event promotes inclusivity across all age groups.In Guwahati, fitness apparel, sports shoes, and hydration brands are already witnessing a rise in demand, reflecting the city’s growing enthusiasm for fitness events and marathon culture inspired by Pune’s success.
