Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) reported a 129 per cent year-on-year rise in domestic wholesales to 3,006 units in June 2026, marking its fourth consecutive month of domestic sales growth. The company also recorded exports of 5,340 units during the month, taking total wholesales to 8,346 units, up 16 per cent from the corresponding period last year. The company attributed the sustained growth to rising customer demand for its product portfolio, particularly the New Nissan Magnite and the recently launched all-new Nissan GRAVITE. Nissan said the continued domestic momentum reflects improving customer confidence and strengthening market presence across the country.
Commenting on the performance, Nissan Motor India Managing Director SaurabhVatsa said the company’s fourth straight month of domestic growth highlighted the effectiveness of its market strategy, dealer network and expanding customer reach. He added that Nissan is preparing for the global premiere of the Nissan TEKTON on July 9, which will mark the next phase of its India growth strategy and product expansion plans. The company said it remains focused on strengthening its domestic business through network expansion, enhanced customer experience and a broader product portfolio while maintaining India’s role as a key export hub.
In Guwahati, Nissan’s sustained sales momentum is expected to support stronger demand in the Northeast, where the compact SUV segment continues to witness steady growth. Dealers in Guwahati are likely to benefit from increased customer enquiries for the Magnite and GRAVITE, while the upcoming launch of the Nissan TEKTON could further enhance the brand’s presence and competitiveness in the region’s fast-growing passenger vehicle market.
